Who:
DIVERSITY AND DIVERSIFICATION
Diversity and diversification are the names of the game.
Humans are not unidimensional, we are multidimensional. Diversity and diversification gives you a broader perspective, promotes innovation and growth, increases productivity and profit, boosts creativity and problem-solving and makes you flexible, tolerant and respectful; and all that is conducive to better and smarter decision making in everything you do, whether is real estate, marketing, construction/renovation or life.
Why D&D is important.
The two “Ds” allow me to have - and move within - an also diverse and diversified network, which in turn allows me to reach way beyond my own circle of influence. Through a diverse and diversified network, If I don’t know, I find who does; if I don’t have it, I find who does; and if it is not in my network, it is in someone else’s, and my network has access to that network.
I may not know it all (not one person does) but I am for sure resourceful. If there is a lock, I’ll find the key. I will open that door. That’s what I offer.
WHO IS ISOLDA MEDINA
As a business curator, I’ve learned to identify how things interconnect. Through the curation process, relationships between one thing and another become very apparent. If you really look at these relationships, it becomes obvious why I have diversified my business portfolio between real estate, marketing and construction/renovation services; they are all sides of the same coin and they feed each other in a very synergic, collaborative and productive way.
I’ll give you an example of how these relationships work.
Customer A gives me a listing. Customer B is looking for that listing. I help customer “A” and “B” reach each other through marketing, and that relationship becomes a transaction that benefits both parties. In between, let’s say customer “A” needs to make some repairs or do some work to his/her property to make it more marketable; and/or customer “B” wants to make the property “their own '' after the transaction. Well, here I am, making it all happen through 360° (Liifestyle) services. Very simple.
Immersing myself in the process of finding, collecting, categorizing, organizing and interpreting valuable information from many different sources gives me a lot of perspective. Processing that information, conceptualizing it and sharing it to help people make informed decisions, helps me develop the proper strategy to achieve the desired goals.
As a Mechanical Engineer I always look at how engines work. Whether it is machinery, business or life, I see a force (mechanics, movement) and it inspires me to reverse engineer it. I need to decipher what makes it move, where it draws its energy from, what are the gears that comprise it and how those gears work; because only through this discovery is that I understand its nature, what are its strengths and weaknesses, where does it create entropy and where it is more susceptible to succeed or to fail.
This deep analytical approach gives me great leverage to make decisions and help people make decisions, and I apply it to everything I do, whether it is the real estate market, the markets I serve as a marketer, the services I render in construction and renovation or in my own life.
As a Marketing Professional I have discovered that, nowadays, the trade has become more than the science of promoting and selling products or services. In today’s world, educated audiences have evolved from traditional marketing practices, what I call “selling colorful little mirrors”. People are looking for real experiences, supported by reliable, trustworthy and factual information and experience, especially when their decisions involve high investments and risk.
I choose to respect and honor people’s intellect, and therefore approach marketing as a reflection of my own intellect. Same attracts same, money attracts money, smart attracts (and wants to work with) smart. My customers will be naturally drawn to what resonates with them, and those are the customers I want.

Construction and Renovation is kind of second nature to me. After graduating from mechanical engineering and obtaining a masters in corrosion, I was forged in the steel milling and steel manufacturing industries, as well as in other related industrial operations. Since then, I have conducted my own construction and renovation projects for a diverse range of customers; such as art galleries, TV studios and personal and investment properties. If I know one thing, it is that everything erodes, corrodes and changes, and that building right and providing maintenance is the only way to ensure permane
